Online Classes
Posted onOur term starts back on January 4th. Due to Coronavirus our classes have all moved online again.
We will definitely be running our classes online from Monday 4th January.
As before, this will be a fantastic virtual teaching experience, with so much more than a simple zoom class.
We aim to lift spirits, keeping the joy, passion for dance and love of learning alive for all our students, whatever age and standard.
We want everyone to maintain healthy minds and active bodies.
However 2021 plays out, we will always be here to support our students, providing the safest and best dance classes we possibly can.
2021, bring it on ……we are experts at adaptation and zoom!!!
What a year we have had – aswell as running over 70 zoom classes per week, we have had an incredibly busy year.
Starting off with a modern and tap exam day in March with amazing 82% Distinctions, a beautiful baby for Miss Naomi and welcoming Miss Christie to our modern and tap team and Miss Louise’s wedding.
The highlights for me were without doubt the Fathers Day Dance Challenge, “We Are Family” Online Show and our fundraising for Children in Need and Alzheimers which totalled £1277
But we must not forget all these:
- Rainbow Art challenge which was displayed at St Heliers Hospital
- Jive Live Week in the May half term Wow Week, featuring Jive dancing with Miss Christina and PBT / stretch with Miss Heather aswell as numerous free workshops
- Stretch at Home Challenge
- World Ballet Day Challenge
- November Lockdown Goals
- RAD vocational exams
- End of term Dress Up Days
- Christmas Ballet Bun Competition
- Holiday workshops: Lion King, Edward Scissorhands and Nutcracker Workshops
- Introduction of Sparkle cards and Star of the Term awards.
These are our new core values starting from 2021 for the whole school to embrace – teachers and students.
